Passion And The Motivational SpeakerMost of us are passionate about something. If we're passionate about it, we probably know a great deal about it. Think about what makes you passionate. Could you talk forever about it? Do you read everything you can about it and can you quote the experts? There are a large number of topics that will fall into this category as well. How about the environment, animals, fishing, sports, gardening or traveling. You don't have to be an expert because you have your own individual take on things. For example, what is the best bait to catch trout, in your opinion, or how about anecdotes about the antics of your own animals. Your talk can be humorous and entertaining or informative or just your personal experience. If you are passionate and enthusiastic about the topic, it will automatically show through to the audience and encourage them to participate as well. You must have a good grip on your emotions if you are speaking on a topic you are passionate about. It is possible that you may get some disagreement from member of the audience and you must always keep a calm demeanor. |
